January 18, 2017 age 65 of Cheektowaga, NY and Willich, Germany. Beloved husband of Paula (nee Wedlake); dearest step-father of Robert M. Cronin and Thomas P. Cronin; dear brother of Rita Blank (Matthias Arft). No prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, January 23, 2017 at St. John Gualbert Church at 10 AM. (Please assemble at Church). Interment to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Winni was a retired First Officer for Air Berlin and active in The Grey Eagles Association and enjoyed his aviation career. Winni was also a member of the Freedom Boat Club in Sarasota, FL. Winni loved playing games, especially Texas Hold’em and enjoyed his shooting club. He is much loved by family, friends and colleagues. Winni will be remembered fondly. Arrangements by MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME.
