October 12, 2014; of East Amherst, NY; after an acute illness; Beloved husband of Natalie (nee Kondratjuk) Solop. Dearest father of Christina T. (fiancé Eric Sobczynski) Solop. Dear son of the late Jakiw and Parania (nee Bahryczuk) Solop. Brother of Nicholas Solop. Uncle of Justin (Kim) Solop and Jennifer (Mark) Cardamone. Also survived by great-nieces and great-nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-7:30 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Road (south of Como Park Blvd.) where funeral services will follow at 7:30 p.m. William was an alumni of Canisius College and a retiree of Yellow Roadway.
