Virginia G. Babirad

Virginia Gayle Babirad was born in Coal City, Pennsylvania, to the late Arthur and Rebecca (Meyer) Boulanger. She was married for 62 wonderful years to Harry Babirad, who predeceased her in 2020.

Virginia is survived by her three children: Arthur (Roberta), Harry (Patricia), and Rebecca, along with seven cherished grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is also preceded by her brother, Robert Boulanger, and sister, Shirley (Boyd) Sharpe.

A love for cooking, sewing, and crafting, but she found the most joy in quilting, creating beautiful pieces that were treasured by family and friends.

In accordance with Virginia's wishes, there will be no formal service. Her family encourages everyone to honor her memory in their own personal way. For those who wish to make a contribution in her name, the family suggests donations to the American Diabetic Association or the White Whiskers Senior Dog Sanctuary in Akron, NY- 35 Lewis Rd, Akron, NY 14001
