March 5, 2016; of Cheektowaga, NY; Beloved husband of the late Jane W. (nee Hamilton) Schuler. Dearest father of Ann (Julius P.) Duquin. Dear grandfather of Alyssa Fuoco, Emily Fuoco and Jenna Duquin. Brother of Paul, William (late Maryann) and Gary (Barbara) Schuler. Longtime companion of the late Jane Albrecht. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd) where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. and from Queen of Martyrs Church at 9:00 a.m. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Thomas was a volunteer for over 15 years for Meals-On-Wheels, active volunteer for the Reinstein Nature Preserve, Treasurer of Cheektowaga Thursday Couples Club and a member of the Cheektowaga Patriotic Commission.
