March 6, 2015 of Cheektowaga, NY, beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Smietana; dearest mother of Thomas P. (Debra), James M. (Zina) and Ret. Col. USAF Michael J. (Beth); grandmother of Sarah Stachewicz, Jeffrey (Laura), David, Meredith, Michael, Jordan, Jennifer and Ryan Smietana; great grandmother of Ava and Addison; sister of John (late Dorothy) Suski, late Alfred (late Alice) and the late Raymond Suski; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Sunday from 2-7 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday in Queen of Martyrs Church at 9 AM. (please assemble at Church). Entombment St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
