Theresa M. Ginter

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Theresa M. "Terry" Ginter (nee Szymanski) on September 20, 2025, of Cheektowaga, NY, at the age of 94.

Terry was the beloved wife of the late Richard Ginter, with whom she shared a loving and devoted marriage for 63 years. Together, they built a beautiful family, and Terry's most cherished roles were that of a mother and grandmother. She leaves behind her daughters, Justine Lafer of Lakeland, FL, and Michelle (Anthony) Ambrose, who will forever carry her love in their hearts.

As a grandmother, Terry was adored by her grandchildren: Richard (Dana) Latona, Charles (Holly Taylor) Latona, and Lisa (Derek Skomski) Latona, and she found immense joy in her role as great-grandmother to Leighton Theresa, Lukas Robert, and Cassidy Moon Latona. Her legacy of love will be cherished by all.

Terry was also the dear sister of the late Laura (late Ted) Siuda, and a cherished aunt to Pat (late Rod) Teeple of Leesburg, IN, along with countless other loving nieces and nephews who were touched by her kindness.

A celebration of Terry’s remarkable life will be held on Saturday from 10 AM to 12 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 5090 Transit Rd, Depew, NY, with a service commencing at 12 PM. The family kindly asks that flowers be declined in favor of your presence and support during this time of remembrance.

The warmth of Terry’s spirit will be felt by all who knew her.
