Sylvia Michelle Majtyka

With heavy hearts, we remember and celebrate the life of Sylvia Michelle Majtyka, a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished sister, and treasured friend. Michelle was the beloved wife and best friend of Michael Majtyka, whose partnership was a true testament to enduring love. She was a proud and nurturing mother to Dr. Bailey Majtyka (and Lilly LeTourneau). Mother of Tracie and Charie Zajac. Sister to Candice (Neil) White and Vickie (Harry) Knaus, Michelle’s warmth and spirit extended to many nieces and nephews, all of whom were deeply touched by her presence.

Michelle's life was rich with dedication and passion. For many years, she worked for Jim Rutowski and family at Sinclair Pharmacy as well as the Buffalo-Niagara Airport. She embraced the joy of traveling with family, sharing adventures and laughter. Michelle found happiness in the company of friends, evenings filled with true crime shows, and a well-deserved glass of wine. Her cooking skills were legendary, but her eye for designing helped create the home that her family will always cherish.

Strong-willed and steadfast, Michelle was the matriarch of her family, a guiding light whose love and strength shaped those around her. Her kindness and unwavering spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
