February 24, 2016; of Buffalo, NY; at the age of 100; Beloved husband of the late Victoria (nee Kawa) Skorupski. Dearest father of Karen (Conrad) Cain and the late Ann. Dear grandfather of Catlin and Carson Cain. Brother of the late Sophie (late Thaddeus) Jakubowski. Uncle of Irene Gramza and Thaddeus Jakubowski. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Friday 3-7 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Road (south of Como Park Blvd.) where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. and from St. Mary of the Assumption Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Stanley was an Army veteran of WW II and a retiree of ITT Standard with over 55 years of service. Flowers gratefully declined. Expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.sliwinskifuneralhome.com
