Salvatore Mendola

MENDOLA, Salvatore - August 20, 2026, of Lancaster, NY. In the tender embrace of his loved ones, Salvatore passed away, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and family devotion. A devoted husband to Linda (nee Scioli), his life was a tapestry woven with love and dedication. As a father, he guided Michele (Gregory) Wozniak, Salvatore J. (Darlene), and Mathew (Cheryl) Mendola with wisdom and care. His pride for his grandchildren—Alex, Max, Mariah, Sophia, and Zackery Mendola, and step-grandchildren Robert and Andrew Cirrincione—was boundless.

Born to the late Joseph and Sylvia (nee Porto) Mendola, Salvatore shared an unbreakable bond with his brother Charles (Josephine) Mendola and sister Carmella (late Daniel) Gosden, as well as the late Nora (Donald) Patti. His joy of life was shared deeply with numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends who cherished his presence.

Join us in celebrating Salvatore's remarkable life on Monday from 4-8 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 5090 Transit Rd., Depew, NY. A Celebration of Life will follow on Tuesday at 10:00 AM.
