January 7, 2015 age 89 of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved wife of the late James S. Fechter; dearest mother of late James (Doris), Jonathan (Ellen), Lawrence and Michael (Cheryl) Fechter; dear grandmother of six grandchildren and five great grandchildren; sister of Dolores (William) Ellis, Florian (Joan) Janowski and Leonard (Marie) Janowski; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Saturday 2-4 PM and Sunday 2-6 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd.) where funeral services will be held Monday at 9:30 AM. Interment Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined.
