Listen to Obituary

Roseanne Piwowarski (née DelPrince), 1938 - November 4, 2026, of West Seneca, NY.

In the gentle embrace of November, we mourn the passing of Roseanne, beloved wife for over six decades to John. Her love and dedication created a foundation for their family, leaving behind sons John III (Mary), Mark (Christine), and Scott (Jeanne). She dedicated all of her time and efforts to her children, helping them to become exceptional leaders, students and athletes. She volunteered her time with her husband who coached many athletes and formed athletic leagues in the community.

Her spirit flourished in her role as cherished grandmother to Joseph, Kristen, Allison, Joe, Marissa, Johnny, Emily, Paul, Will, Kyle, and Tyler. As a great-grandmother, her laughter and warmth will be treasured in the hearts of Joey Blue, Marjorie Rose, and another soon to join the circle of love she inspired.

Sister to the late Concetta Borucki, Amy Micheletti, and Henry DelPrince Jr., her family ties were deep and everlasting. She remains a beloved figure in the lives of many nieces and nephews.

She loved her family more than anything in the world. Her favorite thing to do was anything done together. Almost every family gathering included playing cards, ( she was an aficionado at cards) and teaching her grandchildren their favorite games, and one of her personal favorites: gathering together to just sit and talk. She wanted to be there for every moment, and for her out of town children and grandchildren she made up the distance with frequent phone calls and checking in. She never answered the phone quietly, every call was met with joyful enthusiasm as if she was in the middle of a party; you would never guess it was just her in her living room. Her small and delicate stature was no outward representation of the fiery and passionate heart it contained, which one could first glimpse by her laugh heard from every corner of the room.

Join us in celebrating her life on Saturday from 10 AM to noon at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 5090 Transit Rd., with a Celebration of Life following at noon. Condolences can be shared below
