It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. For 53 wonderful years, he shared his life with his beloved wife, Cynthia (nee Kaminski) Veiders. Together, they built a family filled with love and warmth.
He was the proud father of Ronald E. (Amy), Robert (the late Jessica) Veiders, and Catherine (Michael) Spengler. His legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren, Jenevieve, Juliana, and Henry, who brought immense joy to his life. He also leaves behind his siblings, Richard D. (the late Antoinette) Veiders and Donna (Patrick) Breier, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will remember him fondly.
Having commenced his career at the New York Telephone Company, which later became Verizon, he demonstrated dedication and commitment throughout his professional life. His service as an Army Reservist reflected his deep sense of duty and patriotism.
A true man of many passions, he was an avid fan of the Buffalo Sabres and Bills and found great pleasure in bowling. His love for all things Disney was well-known, adding a touch of magic to everyday life. His creativity shone brightly through his involvement in building sets for the Depew High School musicals, where he generously shared his skills and time. Ronald enjoyed spending time with family and friends the most at Waterport during the summer, cooking on the grill and going out on his boat.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a time of remembrance on Monday, April 6th from 4 to 8 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 5090 Transit Rd., Depew, NY 14043. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 7th at 10:00 AM at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 950 Losson Rd., Cheektowaga, NY 14227, where all are asked to assemble.
His life was a testament to love, service, and joy. Though he will be deeply missed, his spirit and the memories he created will continue to inspire all who knew him.
