Robert Richard Samrock

Robert Richard Samrock, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2026.

Born to the late William Samrock and Clara Morey, Robert was a devoted family man. He was the loving husband of the late Linda Jane Samrock and cherished father of Robert Jr., Mark, and Richard Samrock. He is also survived by his siblings Darcy (Keenan) Radt, Roxanne (Hank) Mroz, Colleen Markiewicz, and John Morey. He was preceded in death by his siblings Doreen Kern, William G. Samrock Jr., and Eric E. Samrock.

Robert was a veteran of the United States Army who proudly served his country. In life, he enjoyed metal detecting, collecting coins and antique bottles, and was an avid baseball fan with a fondness for watching classic Western films. Most of all, he treasured the time spent with his grandchildren Kyiree, Jacob, Michael, Daniel, and Janiah.

He also held a special place in his heart for his dear friend Bennette “BB” Burt and her family, including Lashawna Hunter, Brianna (Dwayne Jones) Burt, and Brian and Gabrielle Burt.

A graveside service to honor Robert’s life will be held on Tuesday, May 26th at 1:00 PM at St. Adalbert’s Cemetery, 6200 Broadway, Lancaster, NY 14086. 

Robert’s memory will be cherished by all who knew him, and his legacy of love, and dedication will remain in their hearts.
