Robert Eugene Romeo

Robert Eugene Romeo, a cherished husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026, at his home. Born on May 31, 1958, in Pontiac, Michigan, Robert lived a life marked by love, kindness, and dedication to his family.

For 25 years, Robert built a successful career in construction, followed by another 25 years as a truck driver, during which he proudly maintained a spotless driving record. His work ethic and commitment to excellence were a testament to his character, reflecting the values he instilled in his family.

Robert's loving nature and supportive spirit made him a wonderful husband to his wife, Robyn Romeo, with whom he shared 47 beautiful years. He was a devoted father to his daughters, Tanya Romeo and Amanda (Jerald Deak) Romeo, and took immense pride in being a grandfather to his grandson, Quinn Romeo, and granddaughter, Jayla Romeo. Family was Robert's greatest accomplishment, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Outside of his professional life, Robert enjoyed woodworking and gardening, hobbies that allowed him to express his creativity and connect with nature. His gentle spirit and compassionate heart touched the lives of many, making a lasting impact on those who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, daughters, grandchildren, sister Kathy Gwork, brother Tim Romeo, half sister Donna Marie Richards and several nieces and nephews. 

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Timothy and Donna Romeo, and his brother Mike P. Romeo.

Visitation services will be held on Wednesday February 18, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 5090 Transit Rd, Depew, NY 14043.
