Listen to Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Robert A. Pszczolkowski, who departed this world on October 20, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. He was a devoted husband for 56 wonderful years to his beloved wife, Karen L. Valtin, their remarkable journey together serving as an inspiration to everyone fortunate enough to know them.

Bob was a cherished father to Robert B. (June A.), Amy Lou (Kevin) Barlow, and Dawn Marie (Christopher J.) Keough. He found boundless joy in his role as a grandfather, relishing the time spent with Nicholas D. (Angela C), Alexander B., Fawn L. (Loren) Kelley, Zachary J. Barlow, Colin A. Barlow, Tegan L. Keough, and Ian P. Keough. The pride he felt as a great-grandfather to Cameron M. and Brayden D. Pszczolkowski, and Nolan M. Kelley, brought him immeasurable happiness. As a brother, Bob was a source of love and support to Daniel B. (Esther) Pszczolkowski and stood by his family, sharing in life's challenges and triumphs. Bob is survived by his nieces, Kathryn Augustyn and Judith Stromayer. He was predeceased by his parents, Adam and Florence, and his sister Florence (late Benjamin) Augustyn, along with David Pszczolkowski, who all held a special place in his heart.

For 46 years, Bob dedicated his life to serving as a firefighter with Rescue Hose Volunteer Fire Company No. 1, where he held various offices for 43 years. His unwavering commitment to his community and fellow firefighters was a testament to his selflessness and bravery, qualities that will be remembered and cherished by many.

Family and friends are invited to join together in celebrating Bob's extraordinary life. A wake will be held on Friday, October 24, from 4 PM to 8 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, located at 5090 Transit Rd., Depew, NY 14043. The Mass of Christian Burial will occur at St. John Gualbert Church, Gualbert and Doat Streets, Cheektowaga, NY 14211, at 10 AM on Saturday, October 25. We warmly invite all guests to assemble at the church for this special gathering of remembrance and love.

In honor of Bob’s enduring legacy, the family requests that donations be made in his name to Rescue Hose Volunteer Fire Company No. 1, 20 Pine Ridge Rd, Cheektowaga, NY 14211, in lieu of flowers.

Although Robert A. Pszczolkowski will be deeply missed, his spirit and the warmth he brought to our lives will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were privileged to know him.
