Listen to Obituary

Richard M. Richardson passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Born on February 2, 1939 to the late Walter and Stella Richardson. Richard was the beloved husband of the late Sue Ann (nee Shoemaker) Richardson. He was a devoted father to Jim, Matthew (Deana), and Colleen (Garrett Wynn) Richardson, and a loving grandfather to Michelle (Cody) Crist and Timothy. Richard's family also includes several cherished nieces and nephews.

Richard's passions were many; he was an avid Buffalo Bills fan, celebrated for his enthusiasm and team spirit. His love for the game was matched by his talent and dedication as an all-star football player for Pine Hill High School. With a fondness for bowling and a deep appreciation for the Yankees, Richard embraced life with a joyful heart and a ready smile.

Friends and family are invited to remember and celebrate his life on Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 5090 Transit Road, Depew, 14043. In honor of Richard’s enduring love for the Buffalo Bills, guests are encouraged to wear his favorite team's attire. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Monday at Our Lady Help of Christians at 10:00 AM, where we ask all to assemble at the church.

Richard was not only a sports enthusiast but also a great friend to many, whose warmth and kindness touched all who knew him. His legacy of friendship and loyalty will be carried forward by those who loved him.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made on Richard's honor to Hospice Buffalo.
