Ralph W. Gardner

GARDNER, Rev. Ralph—On October 3, 2026, at the age of 95, Cheektowaga, NY, bid farewell to a cherished soul. A beloved husband and devoted partner, he shared his life with the late Marta (Pascoe) and Mary (Musilli) Gardner. As a loving father, he leaves behind daughters June Embert, Janice (Luis) Cotto, and Susan (Steve) Patruska and late Son Kenneth (Susan) Gardner. His legacy extends through numerous adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Brother to the late Norbert Gardner and Eleanor Minkler, Ralph's family embraced many beloved nieces and nephews, including Eileen (Angelo) Giambra. A proud Navy veteran of the Korean War, he also served as Cheektowaga Police Department's pioneering K-9 officer. In spirit and deed, he was a guiding light as a Chaplain for the WNY Heroes.

Ralph’s journey will continue as he's laid to rest at St. Adalbert's Cemetery, Cheektowaga, on October 24th at 10:00 AM. Those wishing to honor his memory are invited to assemble at the cemetery. Online condolences may be shared below.
