With deep sorrow yet fond remembrance, we celebrate the life of Mildred H. Zablotny (nee Sobczynski), whose gentle spirit and boundless love enriched the lives of all who knew her. A devoted wife for 65 beautiful years to the late Ernest, Millie embodied grace and strength. As a mother, she nurtured her children—David (Monica), Carol (Gerald) Barbour, and Diane (Thomas) Luksch—instilling in them values of kindness and compassion that will carry on through generations.
Millie's heart swelled with pride for her cherished grandchildren—Christopher (Kristen), Justin (Brianna), Lauren, Allison, and Corey (Lauren)—whose lives sparkled with the joy she so lovingly bestowed upon them. She will always be remembered as a dear sister to the late Robert (Dolores) Sabers, and her nurturing spirit extended to her nieces and nephews, who found comfort in her unwavering support.
Family and friends are invited to join in honoring Millie's remarkable journey on Friday, November 21st, from 4 to 8 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 5090 Transit Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at St. Mary of the Assumption Church at 10:00 AM (please assemble at church), followed by entombment at St. Stanislaus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you express your sympathy through memories and warm thoughts shared.
Millie's legacy of love and light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
