Mildred Kolis

Mildred “Millie” Kolis peacefully departed this life on March 20, 2026, leaving behind a legacy woven with love, faith, and cherished family bonds. Beloved sister and unwavering best friend to Cecilia (late Matthew) Wilk, Millie’s gentle spirit was deeply intertwined with the lives of those she held dear. She was preceded in death by her brothers Leo (late Dorothy) Kolis, Gene (late Vicky) Kolis, Steve (late Ann) Kolis, as well as being the devoted daughter of Lewis and Stella (Krawczyk) Kolis. Millie is also survived by dear family friend Larry Mousseau. 

Millie’s heart was rich with the joy brought by her many nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly as a special aunt and great-aunt. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and creativity, where the art of baking flourished—her beautifully decorated cakes graced family celebrations, sweet tokens of her care and craftsmanship. An avid crafter, Millie delighted in transforming simple materials into thoughtful, handmade treasures that spoke of her generosity and devotion.

A lifelong pillar of Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Millie’s faith was the steady foundation of her life. She engaged wholeheartedly with her church community, embodying a spirit of dedication and love that inspired all who crossed her path.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady Help of Christians Chapel on Saturday, March 28th at 12:00 PM—a moment to honor a life well-lived and a heart forever cherished. Millie Kolis’s enduring legacy of love, family, and steadfast tradition will continue to bloom in the hearts of all who were privileged to know her.
