Of Cheektowaga, NY, passed suddenly on July 17, 2021 of an apparent heart attack at the age 55. Beloved son of the late Melvin J. and Geraldine B. (nee Cwikalowski) Sliwinski; dearest brother of the late Darlene, Melvin Jr., and David J. Sliwinski; cherished nephew of Joyce (Richard) Taylor; also survived by the Meeson Family, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Tuesday July 20th and Wednesday July 21st from 3-7PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd., Depew) and where Funeral Services will be held on Thursday morning at 8:30AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St Louis Church at 9:30AM. Interment will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Mr. Sliwinski was the Chief of Police for the Town of Cheektowaga and a NYS Licensed Funeral Director at the Melvin J. Sliwinski Funeral Home.
