December 6, 2014, age 93 of West Seneca, NY formerly of Cheektowaga, NY.
Beloved husband of the late Ethel A. (nee Duncan) Andresino; dearest father of Louis (Laurie), Kathleen and Darlene (Gerard) Ross; loving grandfather of five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; dear son of the late Luigi and Anna (nee LaBombardo) Andresino; step-son of the late Angelo Scicchitano; brother of late Mary Andresino, late Mary (late Tom) Abbott and Rose (late Norman) Lesch; dearest friend “Honorary Brother” of Anthony Lopardi; also survived by many loving and devoted nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd.) where prayers will be said on Thursday at 10:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Queen of Martyrs Church at 11 AM. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Mr. Andresino was a Navy Armed Guard during WW II, sailing completely around the world and was a proud member of UAW Local 774.
