June 17, 2013 of Lancaster, NY Beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Surdy. Loving mother of Natalie (late Jerome) Andrzejewski and the late Janet (Daniel) Kopera. Dearest grandmother of James (Debra) Kopera, Larry (Donna) Kopera, Lorraine (Kenneth) Kirsten, MaryAnn (Kyle) Anderson and great-grandmother of Allyson (Colin) Schumacher, Jenna Kopera, Dylan Kopera, Emilie Kirsten and Stephanie Kirsten. Sister of the late Melvina (late Maryan) Skulski and the late Caroline (late Joseph) Meister. Also survived by nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Thursday 1-3 & 6-8 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Road (south of Como Park Blvd.) A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday in Resurrection Church at 10:00 a.m. (please assemble at church) Interment St. Augustine Cemetery. Mary was a former member of the St. Augustine Rosary Society.
