On July 14, 2026, at the age of 89, Marilyn Boje of Cheektowaga, NY, peacefully entered into rest. A devoted wife for 63 years to the late Clarence R. Boje, she leaves behind a family who cherished her deeply.
Marilyn was the beloved mother to her four daughters, Kathleen (Roger Karlinski), Noreen Boje-Buchanan, Nancy (Robert) Dann, and Cindy (Brian) White. Her love extended to her grandchildren, Chelsea (Lukas) Merritt, Jocelyn (Julia Baker) Podyma, Eric (Katherine) and Evan (Katie Manchester) Dann, Holly (Nicklas) Ferguson, and Jonathan White, and further to her great-grandchildren, Theodore, Harlowe, and Archer Merritt. She is also survived by her sister Ann (Robert) Rook, alongside numerous nieces and nephews.
A woman of enduring dedication and service, Marilyn volunteered with Meals on Wheels for 25 years and was an active community member. Her commitment to nurturing young lives was evident in her lifelong involvement with the Girl Scouts, where she began as a leader around the age of 17, earning both the Thanks 1 and Thanks 2 Badges.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Marilyn's life on Friday from 4-7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, Depew. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Saturday at 10:00 AM at Queen of Martyrs RC Church, Cheektowaga. Please assemble at church.
Another celebration of her remarkable life will be announced at a later date.
