Lester E. Meyer

Lester E. Meyer, fondly known as “Chip,” passed away at the age of 60, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with early onset Alzheimer's.

Spending most of his life in Lancaster, Lester was a devoted family man known for his strong work ethic, quick wit, and playful sense of humor. He was the cherished husband of 27 years to Julie, and the proud father of Megan and Hannah. He is remembered as the beloved son of Charlotte Durrance and the late Maynard Meyer, and shared a special bond with his siblings Kelly Flock and Troy (Ann) Durrance, and the late Deborah Pierce. Known for his humorous spirit, he touched the lives of many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Lester “Chip” will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are invited to gather and pay their respects on Monday, October 5th, from 4-7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 5090 Transit Road, Depew, NY 14043.
