Kathleen Battaglia

Kathleen Battaglia, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on May 2, 1963, in Buffalo, New York, Kathleen brought joy, strength, and kindness to everyone who knew her.

A devoted wife for 39 years, Kathleen shared a loving and enduring marriage with her husband, Stephen Battaglia. She was the proud and devoted mother of two sons, Stephen Jr. and Tyler, who were the light of her life.

Kathleen is survived by her mother, Frances Monaghan; her husband, Stephen; her sons, Stephen Jr. (Rebecca) and Tyler (Miranda); and her cherished grandchildren, Joshua and Beau.

She also leaves behind her brother, Thomas (Gail) Monaghan; her sisters, Carol Kozub and Sue (Bob) Guarino; and her sisters-in-law, Lynette (Scott) Kelly and Denise (Mark) Ferreri. Kathleen will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. 

Kathleen was preceded in death by her father, Thomas J. Monaghan.

Kathleen’s life was a testament to love and devotion, and her proudest accomplishments revolved around her family. Kathleen’s warmth, compassion, and unwavering love for her family and friends will be remembered always.

Kathleen’s legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the memories she created with those who loved her most. Her loving spirit extended to all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Kathleen's legacy will be honored during a visitation on Thursday August 21, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals located at 5090 Transit Rd, Depew, NY 14043

Her Funeral Mass will be held the following day, Friday August 22, 2025, at 9:30 AM at St Gabriel's RC Church, 5271 Clinton St, Elma, NY 14059.

Inurnment at Holy Cross Cemetery 2900 S. Park Ave. Lackawanna, New York 14218.
