September 22, 2014, age 88 of West Seneca, NY. Beloved husband of the late Ann R. (nee Dudzic) Piechowiak; dearest father of Joanne (Wayne) Campbell; dear grandfather of Morgan Campbell; son of the late Stephan and Mary (nee Mroz) Piechowiak; brother of the late Florence Bielinski, Leonard Piechowiak and Rose Marie Stando-Swierski; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd.) Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at Queen of Heaven Church at 9 AM (please assemble at church). Joseph was a Navy Veteran of WW II. Expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.sliwinskifuneralhome.com
