John J. Wackowski

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of John J. Wackowski, who entered into eternal rest on June 15, 2025, of West Seneca, NY. A proud U.S. Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam era, John was a man of great passion, evidenced by his love for model trains and his self-taught skill at playing the organ.

John was a devoted family man, cherished by those who had the privilege to know him. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Frances, a bond that will forever remain unbroken. He is also reunited in spirit with his dear parents, John and Clara, his brother Alfred, and his sisters Alice Toper and Victoria Theresa Wackowski.

Left to honor his memory are his beloved son Douglas (Darlene) Wackowski and his loving sister Dolores Aren, devoted brother Ronald (Kathy) Wackowski John was also the proud grandfather to two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy.

A gathering will be held on Thursday, June 26th, from 10 AM to 11 AM at NEW COMER CREMATIONS & FUNERALS, located at 5090 Transit Rd, Depew, NY. This will be followed by a meaningful Celebration of Life at 11 AM, where we will come together to reflect on the wonderful memories shared with John.

In this moment of sorrow, we invite family and friends to pay tribute to the remarkable life he led. John J. Wackowski will be dearly missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
