CHMURA, JOHN S.
February 19, 2016; of Cheektowaga, NY; at the age of 65; Beloved husband of 42 years to Carol A. (nee Napierala) Chmura. Dearest son of the late Stanley and Eleanore Chmura and son-in-law of Robert and the late Mary Napierala. Brother of Barbara, Geri (Dan) Flierl and brother-in-law of Jim (Nancy) Napierala and Robin (Ron) Barbour. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. No prior visitation. A celebration of John's life will be held at Queen of Martyrs Church 180 George Urban Blvd. on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. (please assemble at church) John was a Vietnam veteran, member of the Cheektowaga Patriotic Commission and the VFW Pvt. Leonard Post Post #6251. Arrangements by MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME. Expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.sliwinskifuneralhome.com
