February 17, 2022, age 90 of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth J. Meyers; dearest mother of Guy, Marc (Pam), Lisa (David) Alessi and Erie County Legislator, Timothy (Val) Meyers; loving grandmother of Erica (Joseph) Cino, Colin (Tiffany), Taylor (Philip) Prynn, Timothy, Nathan, Savannah and Faith; dear friend of Betty Anne Swiatek; also survived by great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Joan will be remembered for telling it like it is, last to leave a party and everyone’s fashionista. Private services were held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME
