Joan M. Ladowski (nee Zybczynski), a cherished member of the Cheektowaga community, peacefully entered into eternal rest on June 9, 2025. Joan's heartwarming presence will forever be remembered by her beloved husband of 55 years, James A. Ladowski. Together, they built a remarkable life filled with love and devotion.
As a loving mother, Joan nurtured her family with boundless affection, leaving behind a legacy that is carried on by her children: Gary (Deborah), Janice (Rodney), Teri (Harry), Kathy (Carlo), and Tammy (Todd). Her spirit lives on through her cherished grandchildren: Jeffrey, Melissa, Katelyn, Joshua, Madisyn, Meghan, Maria, Christian, and Ryleigh, and it will continue to shine brightly in the lives of her great-grandchildren: Sofie, Hudson, Paxton, Riven, Grayson, and Larkyn.
Joan was the beloved daughter of the late Louis and Florence Zybczynski, and a dear sister to Carol (late Robert) Funk and the late Daniel (Pat) Zybczynski. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews who will always remember her with love.
Joan’s warmth and compassion touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will remain etched in the hearts of her family and friends, always inspiring love and togetherness. As we celebrate her life, let us hold onto the joy and kindness she gifted to us all.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday morning, June 30, 2025 at 10 o'clock in St. Philip the Apostle Church, 950 Losson Rd., Cheektowaga, NY 14227. Please assemble at the Church. Memorials may be made in Joan's memory to Hospice Buffalo.
