February 3, 2013 of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved wife of the late Edward B. Lydo; dearest mother of Patricia (Peter) Willard and Richard (Barbara) Lydo; loving grandmother of Sean (Candace), Jeffrey (Laura), Ryan (Melinda) Willard, Christopher Lydo, Michael Lydo and five great grandchildren; sister of the late Steve (late Dorothy) Halecki and the late Paul (Maryann) Halecki; sister in law of late Julia Dmochowski and Charlotte Shaw; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd.) where funeral services will be held Thursday at 8:45 AM and from Queen of Martyrs Church at 9:30 AM. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Lydo was a member of Queen of Martyrs Altar and Rosary Society and the Cayuga Village Seniors.
