Listen to Obituary

Jean Marie Deboy Kaczmarski, a beloved matriarch of Clarence, New York, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the remarkable age of 96, on December 19, 2025. She was the heart of her family; humble, kind, and endlessly generous with her love. She will now be reunited with her husband, Louis who preceded her in death.

Born on November 28, 1929 in Limestone, NY, Jean was the treasured daughter of John and Julia (Connors) DeBoy. Throughout her life, she embodied a spirit of resilience and independence. Jean was known for her strong work ethic and gentle heart. Her fierce dedication to family and friends was matched only by her feisty spark, which brought both mischief and joy to those fortunate enough to know her.

Jean’s greatest happiness was found in family gatherings, surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, alongside her beloved dogs, Spanky, Pepper and Penny. Jean possessed a natural gift of nurturing those around her. You could always find her holding a sleeping baby, feeding a toddler, or sneaking sweets to the kids; she adored spoiling her great-grandchildren.

Jean relished playing cards and loved to share a laugh over a cold beer or glass of wine with friends. She had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel valued, whether they were close friends, family members, or newly met acquaintances. Each interaction reflected her natural kindness and generosity.

Jean leaves behind a legacy woven in love, embodied by her four adoring children: Julie (David) Bianchi, Alana (Mario) Tarquinio, Mark (late wife Maryellen) and Karen (James) Cole. Her family continues with twelve grandchildren; Nicole (Mark) DiFilippo, Jennifer (Joseph) Pagano, Melissa (Jeffrey) Jaroszewski, Kristie (Jeffrey) Kupka, Mark (Nellie) Bianchi, Ryan (Mary) Kaczmarski, Vicki (Jonathan) Schmitt, Kelly Jean Kaczmarski, Brooke (Nicholas) Jacus, Kimberly (Erik) Saladin, Ashley Harrelson, and Alex Cole who carry on her spirit, alongside her 33 cherished great-grandchildren whose lives she filled with joy. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Tommy Frank and many nieces and nephews who will forever cherish her memory.

Jean is reunited with those who departed before her, including her beloved husband, Louis Kaczmarski, daughter-in-law, Maryellen, and her siblings Francis, James, Richard, Russell, Irene Frank, and Alice Couch, together again in eternal love.

The family invites you to honor her life on Friday, January 16, 2025, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 5090 Transit Rd., Depew, NY 14043 . A Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating her joyous spirit, will be held at Our Lady of Peace Parish, 10950 Main St, Clarence on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Though she has left this earth, Jean’s spirit and the love she infused into the world remain forever present in the memories woven by her family. She will be forever remembered, deeply missed, and dearly loved.
