Janet C. Michels

Janet C. Michels (née Mitchell), of Cheektowaga, NY, departed this life on July 22, 2026. She rejoins her beloved husband, William Michels, and dear friend, Leonard Borowicz, in a place of peace.

A devoted mother, Janet's love and guidance will be fondly remembered by her children, Dale Sr.(Jackie) Michels, Karen (Tony Sr.) DeMola, and Nancy (late Gary Sr.) Kinmartin. Her legacy of warmth and kindness continues through her 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.

Janet was a cherished sister to William (Jane) Nadler and Joseph (Nancy) Nadler, while holding dear memories of her late brother, Norman Mitchell. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will carry forward her spirit.

A pillar of strength and service, Janet dedicated time as past president of the Pvt. Leonard Post Ladies Auxiliary, touching many lives with her compassion and leadership.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Janet's life on Sunday, July 26th, from 3-7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals in Depew, NY, with funeral services on Monday at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes heartfelt remembrances. Janet's life was a tapestry woven with love, dedication, and cherished memories.
