Irene Lesniak

2/13/1932-12/1/2025 - age 93

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Irene Lesniak, a remarkable woman whose love and spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. Irene, a treasured resident of Cheektowaga, NY and Indian Shores, FL, was the loving daughter of the late Walter and Mary (nee Winiarz) Niejadlik. She was the devoted wife of the late Thaddeus "Ted" Lesniak and a cherished mother to Mary Sue (Michael) Budzich, as well as the late John Lesniak, whose memories will forever remain close to their hearts.

As a grandmother, Irene radiated warmth and kindness, delighting in every moment spent with her beloved grandchildren, Lauren (Dylan) Goren and Katelynn Budzich. Her legacy continues through them and the many lives she has influenced.

Irene was known for her joyful spirit, often seen shopping with an infectious enthusiasm. She was the matriarch of her family, sharing her love through her passion for cooking and solving puzzles. But most importantly, it was the time she spent with her family that brought her the greatest joy.

Preceded in death by her siblings, Lottie, Henry, Emil, and Eleanor, Irene's love endures in the hearts of her family and friends. As we remember her today, we celebrate a life filled with unwavering love, shared laughter, and cherished memories. May her soul rest in peace, forever surrounded by the love she so generously gave.

Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, December 22nd at 10:00 AM in Queen of Martyr's R.C. Church 180 George Urban Blvd Cheektowaga, NY 14225. Please assemble at the church.
