Ethan L. Peters, of Lancaster, NY, went to the Lord on May 24, 2026 at age 90. 

Beloved husband of 57 years to Rosemarie "Marida" Peters (nee Pillittere); devoted father of Justine (the late Michael) Gorham, Alan (Tanja) and Lisa Marie; cherished grandfather of Jessica (James) Cannata, Alan Michael Peters, William Schultz, Rebecca O'Brocta and Patrick Peters; loving great-grandfather to Lucian and Sage; dear brother of the late Adrian (late Eleanor), the late Thomas (Linda), and the late Mary Fasano; also survived by nieces and nephews. 

Ethan was an Engineer with Niagara Mohawk Power, later becoming an Auditor with the New York State Comptrollers Office and served as an Army Aviation National Guardsman for 40 years. He was an active volunteer in the Parents Group at Southeast Works (People Inc.), the Partnership for the Disabled, operating concessions at Rich Stadium and Darien Lake. He also ushered at the Lancaster Opera House. He enjoyed travel, theater, and gaming at "The Club", time spent with family, especially his great-grandsons that brought him great joy over the past few years.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Bowmansville at a future date.
