August 26, 2013 of Cheektowaga, NY Beloved wife of the late Daniel B. Pilarski. Dearest mother of Pamela Ryan and Michele Pilarski. Dear grandmother of Samantha (Amy) Dunphy-Ryan, Tabitha, Mark, Adam and Marissa. Sister of Dorothy (Gene) Poltowicz. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday in St. Martha Parish at 10:00 a.m. (please assemble at church) Eleanor was a member and past treasurer of the East Lovejoy Home Bureau and a member of the St. John Kanty Choir.
