Passed peacefully surrounded by his family on July 25, 2012 of Cheektowaga, NY beloved husband of 64 years to Gloria (nee Maciejewski) Tyszka. Dearest father of Susan (Kenneth) Kuzara and Richard (late Denise) Tyszka; dear grandfather of Michelle (Mark) Zotara, Jennifer Szymanski, Brian (Shannon) Tyszka, Michael (Ali) Tyszka, Shaun Tyszka and Lindsay Tyszka (fiance Matthew Schieber) and great grandfather of Lauren, Kaitlyn Zotara and Zachary and Rachel Tyszka. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. and from Queen of Martyrs Church at 9:30 a.m. Entombment St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Mr. Tyszka was a Navy veteran of WW II, Adam Plewacki Post #799 and Corpus Christi Athletic Club.
