HOOPER - Duane D. "Duke" Sr.
August 22, 2013 of West Seneca, NY. Beloved husband of 59 years to Betty (nee Jannotte) Hooper; loving father of Duane Jr. "Butch" (Cathy), Michael (Denise), David (Edith) and Donald (Lynn) Hooper; dear grandfather of eleven grandchildren; son of the late John and Mildred (nee Snyder) Hooper; brother of late Joan Hooper and the late Raymond (late Mary) Murray. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Saturday from 4-8 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd.) Duke was a veteran of the Korean War, a member of Pvt. Leonard Post VFW #6251 and a retiree of the US Postal Service. Flowers gratefully declined, memorials may be made to Hospice.
