**In Loving Memory of Dorothy Goveski**

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy Goveski on November 30, 2025, in West Seneca, NY. She was the daughter of the late James Golebiewski and Stella Pasierbowicz.

Dorothy is survived by her sisters, Rita (Bud) Statzer and Marilyn (Thomas) Guarino, along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings: Ray (late Cathy) Grayson, Eleanore (late Joseph) Cherven, Phyllis Burke, Pauline (late Jack) Browne, and Gerald (Ellie) Golebiewski, Daniel Golebiewski and Ron Golebiewski.

A devoted professional, Dorothy dedicated years of service as a bank teller at M&T Bank before retiring as a Court Clerk for Erie County Family Court in Buffalo, NY. Her career was marked by a steadfast commitment to serving others.

Dorothy had a passion for crossword puzzles and was an avid reader.  She was a walking encyclopedia, displaying a remarkable knowledge of trivia, historical facts and current events. Those conversations will be sorely missed. Her love for animals and nature was evident, and she was an enthusiastic supporter of the Buffalo Bills.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no prior visitation. Private services were held at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Erie County SPCA.

May her soul rest in peace.
