(nee Kowalczewski); dearest father of Michael (Diane), David (Dana) and Mark (Rosanne) Christel; dear grandfather of Jim, Stephanie, Natalie, Jennifer and Joey; son of George and the late Anna (nee Gerling) Christel; brother of Catherine (Tony) Suriani, Carol Busch and Eddie (Ingrid) Christel; brother-in-law of Ray Kowalczewski and Bernie Bartkowiak; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9 AM and from Queen of Martyrs Church at 9:30 AM. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
