Darlene M. Helak

From Attica, she was a devoted wife of 36 years to Paul J. Helak. A cherished mother to Tracy (Adam) Cooper, Nathan, and Kyle (Christine) Helak, she delighted in being a beloved grandmother to Erin, Madison, Ava, and Gunner. She was the beloved sister of Laurie (Michael) O’Connor, Mark (Susan), and Brian (Patricia) Miller, and the daughter of the late Lloyd and Joanne Miller. Her legacy extends to several adored nieces and nephews.

She spent 15 years as a nurturing foster parent with Hillside and worked numerous years at Jubilee Deli, known for her warmth and kindness. Her heart found joy in being with her family and beloved cat, Boo. A passionate decorator and landscaper, her creativity brought beauty to many lives.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, October 9th from 3-7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 5090 Transit Road, Depew, NY 14043.
