Daniel P. Kicior

With heartfelt sorrow, we remember Daniel P. Kicior, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and dear friend. For 42 wonderful years, Daniel shared a life filled with love and partnership with his beloved wife, Dolleen "Dolly" Kicior. Together, they built a family grounded in affection and strength.

Daniel was a proud and caring father to Timothy and William Kicior, and a treasured grandfather to Chris (Danny Reddy) Kicior. He held deep bonds with his siblings—Thomas (Debbie), Laurie (Tom), and lovingly remembered his late brother, Michael Kicior. Born to the late Robert Kicior and Barbara (Donald) Zotter, Daniel’s family was a central part of his life. He was also a respected brother-in-law to Debi (the late Tony) Zymowski and Delia (Dean) Fisher, Ray Smythe and the late Patsy Smythe, godfather to Paisley and Monroe McDonald, as well as devoted uncle to many nieces and nephews. Daniel’s compassionate nature extended beyond family to his beloved dogs—Precious, Deedee, and Lily—whom he affectionately cared for as their dogfather, and to his loyal friend Tim McDermott.

A skilled roofer and tradesman, Daniel was a steadfast provider who remained calm and reliable under pressure—a true rock for those he loved. An avid hunter and passionate outdoorsman, he embraced nature’s beauty and pursued his interests with dedication. Daniel’s perfectionism was matched by his love for music, especially Pink Floyd and Roger Waters, which brought joy and inspiration to his life.

Though Daniel has left us too soon, his legacy of love, dedication, and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him. We celebrate his life and the incredible impact he made on his family and friends. May his memory continue to be a source of comfort and strength.
