Claire V. Kuehmeier (née Harding), cherished matriarch and devoted wife, passed away on April 16, 2025, in Cheektowaga, NY. She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald Kuehmeier, with whom she shared a profound and loving union that lasted for 51 years.
Claire's legacy lives on through her loving children, Kevin (Paige) Kuehmeier and her late daughter, Karen (Eric) Rosolowski, whose memories will forever be intertwined with the warmth and affection she bestowed upon them. As a proud grandmother, she found immense joy in her grandchildren: Kate, Jay, and Luke Kuehmeier, as well as Aidan and Rowan Rosolowski, who brought light to her life.
She is also remembered fondly by her dear sister Eleanore and the late John Jarzynski, Joe and Carol Swan, along with her nephews, Chris Harding and Martin, who were touched by her kindness and love.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of Claire's life on Thursday, April 24, from 3 to 7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 5090 Transit Rd., Depew, NY 14043. A prayer service will be held at 9:15 AM on Friday, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Help of Christians Chapel at 10:00 AM. Claire will be laid to rest at St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
Claire was a business teacher at West Seneca East High School and went to Stella Niagara High School, Rosary Hill (Daemen) College 1962 and Canisius College 1967. As we reflect on Claire's remarkable life, let us cherish the joyous moments and the love she shared with all who knew her.
