On May 15, 2026, the community of Depew, NY, bid farewell to Chet Ostrowski, a cherished husband, devoted father, and beloved grandfather. For fifty years, Chet shared a deep and enduring love with his wife Teresa (née Nowik), a partnership that stood as a testament to commitment and companionship.
Chet’s legacy lives on through his children: Jill (John Copas) Reinhart, Michael Ostrowski, and Jennifer (Derek) Malke, who carry forward his spirit and strength. His warmth and kindness extended to his grandchildren—Janie, Lauren, Tori, Troy, and Teddi—each of whom held a special place in his heart.
He was also a treasured brother to Theresa (Richard) Czajka, Joanne (Steve) Moulton, and Anthony (Beverly) Kujawinski, and is remembered fondly alongside his late brothers, Walter and Stanley Kujawinski. The love of family touched many nieces and nephews, all of whom survive him.
Family and friends will gather on Tuesday from 3 to 7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 5090 Transit Rd., Depew, NY 14043, to honor Chet’s memory and celebrate a life well lived. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at St. Philip the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, where all are invited to assemble. Following the service, entombment will take place at St. Adalbert’s Cemetery.
Chet Ostrowski’s life was a beacon of love, loyalty, and family devotion—a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
