Charlotte V. Kolacz

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charlotte V. Kolacz on December 8, 2025, in Depew, NY. Charlotte was a beloved wife to the late Henry J. Kolacz, and her warmth and kindness will be forever cherished by her loving family.

She leaves behind her dear children, Diane (Gregg) Bajdas, Kathleen (Charles) Elberson, and Chet Kolacz. Charlotte took immense joy in being a Nana to Kara, Heather (Jay), Alyssa (Matt), Brett (Cassie), and the late Jocelyn, and she was a proud Gigi to Nolan, Jacob, Lucas, Toby, Daisy Mae, and Charlotte. Her family was her pride and joy, and her legacy will live on in their hearts.

Charlotte was a sister to her late siblings Jennie Gister, Frances (Henry) Kowal, John Gister, Teddy Gister, and Rose Lauer. She is also survived by a loving circle of nieces and nephews, who remember her fondly.

A vibrant presence in her community, Charlotte was a long-standing member of the Cheektowaga Senior Choir Group. Her joyful spirit resonated with all who knew her, and she also dedicated many years to her work at Western Electric.

Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate Charlotte's life on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 4-7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 5090 Transit Rd. A prayer service will follow at 7 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to Hospice Buffalo, Inc., in honor of Charlotte's memory. 

Charlotte’s love and laughter will be sorely missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
