Carol Ann Woods passed peacefully in her sleep at the age of 77. Though small in stature, she was mighty in strength, love, and spirit, leaving a lasting imprint on all who knew her.
A devoted Jehovah’s Witness, Carol lived her life guided by faith, compassion, and quiet strength. She was known for her sense of humor, thoughtfulness, and generous, caring heart. A retired Registered Nurse (RN), she dedicated her career to caring for others, reflecting the selfless person she was at her core.
Carol found joy in gardening, sending cards to loved ones, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren, creating cherished “forever memories”. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Zlotnick, and her aunt, Stella Skaarup.
She is survived by Herman Woods, Jr., the father of her three adult children; her daughters, Alycea Barnes (Jason), Tobian Breidert (Jonathan), and Nicole Kerner (Marlon); and her beloved grandchildren, Elijah, Kendyl, and Gabriel. She is also survived by her cherished cousin and dear friend, Gerrie Ryan, along with Gerrie’s children, Colleen, Cheryl, and Jonathan, and her loyal dog & companion, Jazzy.
Carol Ann Woods will be remembered for her mighty strength, loving heart, and unwavering devotion to family and faith. Through small in size, her love was vast, and her legacy will live on through the special memories she created with her family and friends.
