April was the definition of unconditional love, she could see the good in anyone and donated to various animal sanctuaries whenever she could.
April H. King passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026 at Olean General hospital surrounded by her loving family. April was known for her peaceful spirit, love for rock & roll, and her unmatched cooking and gardening. April was the definition of unconditional love, she could see the good in anyone and donated to various animal sanctuaries whenever she could. She had the distinct ability to recall birthdays and anniversaries, as well as music and movie quotes. In addition to being a homemaker, April enjoyed frequent trips with her family to the countryside as well as live music, her bowling team, card playing, yahtzee, backgammon and scrabble. Aside from Buffalo, April and her husband enjoyed a few wonderful years in Norfolk Virginia before returning and ultimately relocating to Western NY where they built their home and vacationed often. April is predeceased by her mother and father, Joyce Fuller and Carlyle Parker as well as siblings, Cheryl Dipasquale and Steven Parker. She is survived by her husband Joseph King ll and children, Carla King, Steven King, Cortney George and Joseph King lll, as well as five grandchildren, three siblings and countless nieces, nephews and beloved friends. Friends and family will be received to celebrate the life of April at the Knight's of Columbus Lodge at 1530 Kenmore Avenue, in Buffalo, NY on Saturday, 7/25/26 from 2-5 PM. In lieu of flowers please make any donations to the Cattaraugus County SPCA in her honor.
