April 25, 2021 age 88 of Depew, NY. Beloved husband of 63 years to Lucia (nee D’Addetta) Scanzuso; dearest father of Rocco (Michele), Michael and Anthony (Andrea) Scanzuso; dear grandfather of Michael (Tara), Jeffrey (Karlie), Matthew, Briana (Michael) Paolini, Anthony and Andrew Scanzuso; great grandfather of Preston, Jase and Jordan; son of the late Rocco and Maria (nee Toma) Scanzuso; brother of Angelo Scanzuso, Libera (Francesco) Ortore and predeceased by Rafaela, Matthew, Rocco and Michelina; also survived by nieces, nephews and family in Italy. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Wednesday April 28th 4-8 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd.) where funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:30 AM and from St. Philip the Apostle Church at 10 AM. Entombment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Scanzuso was a member of Circolo Sportivo Italia and enjoyed gardening and wine making.
