May 12, 2015, age 97 of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved wife of the late Edward A. Petre; dearest mother of Edward C. (late Mary), Thomas M. (Joan), Jerome R. (Teresa) and Philip J. (Melissa) Petre; dear grandmother of fifteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; sister of Dolores (late Richard) Paryz, late Alfred (late Joanna) Strzalek and the late Josephine (late Matthew) Pietrzak; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) where funeral services will be held Saturday at 9 AM and from St. John Gualbert Church at 9:30 AM.
