May 2, 2020 age 81 of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved husband of Sandra M. (nee Budzinski) Rakowski; dearest father of Matthew (Jordan) Rakowski; special father of Alan (Mary) and Sean (Barbara); grandfather of Micheil, Nicholas and Fredrik; special grandpa of Jackson and will be missed by Baxter; son of the late Adolph and Lottie (nee Palka) Rakowski; brother of Mary (late Vincent) Ptak and the late Theresa (late Joseph) Matusik; brother in law of Carol (Marvin) and Nancy Budzinski; special friend of First Students Federal Team; also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. No prior visitation. Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. Mr. Rakowski served with the US Marines and a retiree of the Town of Cheektowaga with 37 years of service. Arrangements by MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME.
